Yoga & Beach Homestay Malaga

Since I stayed the first in Malaga, I dreamed about living in an old fishermen´s house at the beach. After five years this dream came true. I found the perfect place in El Palo Malaga, a typical Andalusian fishermen´s neighborhood. The houses are all owned by the familys living here and build like they wanted it to be. I offer two rooms in my little house. Here you will experience the typical spanisch lifestyle away from the mega touristic Costa del Sol. You will feel the difference.

About the Homestay

Alice’s Yoga & Beach Homestay is run as sustainable as possible. I recycle and I am careful with the resources of water and energy. I am vegan. Living in harmony with the nature.

The house has two floors with a patio and a terrace on top. On the first floor is the entrance for get-togethers, the living and the kitchen. From here opens a door to the patio with stairs to the yoga terrace and the shared bathroom.

The bed rooms are on the second floor and a stairway from the entrance keeps this part private from other parts of the house.

Yoga on the roof terrace & at the beach

I am happy to find a place with a roof terrace that allows me to teach hatha yoga and offer mantra singing at home. During summertime I offer the yoga classes and Kirtan directly at the sea. This is Andalucia, the ideal place for your yoga holidays, retreats and workshops.

Public transport from the airport takes aprox. a hour. Take the train C1 from the airport to malaga central alameda (1,70 €/12min.) and change their to the bus 3 or 11 (1,30 € ca. 20min.) with the direction to el palo. Leave at the bus stop Calle Almeria/Padre Coloma and go down the calle Padre de Coloma in the direction of the beach. The second street on the right side is my street. If you have a very late night or an early morning flight you can only take the taxi. Plan your trip on google maps:
